2013 was also the first year that Toyota offered the popular TRD Rock Warrior trim. If you go for this model you will get 16 mpg in the city and 20 mpg on the highway. You can tow between 4,500 lb to 10,400 lb with the 2013 model.

3. 2015 Model

Another major facelift happened for this truck in 2015 along with an interior redesign. The 2015 model is capable of towing between 6,400 lb to 10,500 lb. You can get 15 mpg while driving in the city and 19 mpg on the highway. 

There are used 2015 models between $16,000 to $32,000 depending on the trim option it comes with. 

4. 2016 Model

With this model, you will have technology incorporated into the truck. The 2016 Tundra has a 5.7-liter V8 engine with 15 mpg. You can find used models costing between $20,000 to $25,000. 

You will find that this tundra is a bit more rugged while you are driving it when you compare it to newer modern pickup trucks. 

5. 2018 Model

In 2018, the tundra received the Toyota safety suite for the first time ever. This truck is rough and ready to get to work if you are looking for a reliable work truck. 

You can find used 2018 models costing between $25,000 to $30,000. Keep in mind that these pickup trucks are in no way luxury trucks they are mainly to get some heavy-duty work completed.
